It is actually the biggest finishing train station in Europe, with a surface of 83,640m2. It was inaugurated on December 4th of 1913, after 13 years of construction.  Apart from its function as a neuralgic point for goods, the station has since 1997, after the building was entirely renewed, an important mall. Spread through three floors and with a total surface of 30,000m2. (as of 2004) where there are approximately 140 shops located. The total volume of the modernization and rehabilitation of the train station was of about 250 million Euros. All the original windows were renewed by our company.
